About the role

Senior Mobile Engineer to build and scale patient-facing mobile applications using React Native, owning end-to-end delivery across iOS and Android, collaborating with Product, Design, and backend engineers, and mentoring teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of mobile features across iOS and Android using React Native
  • Partner with Product, Design, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive, reliable experiences
  • Evolve mobile architecture; improve engineering quality through testing and performance optimizations
  • Mentor teammates and contribute to the long-term success of the mobile platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to surface risks and provide clear scope/estimates
  • Publish and maintain apps on App Store and Google Play (preferred)
  • Build AI-powered or LLM-enabled mobile features (preferred)
  • Maintain mobile observability and crash reporting practices (preferred)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building production mobile applications
  • 3+ years of experience with React Native, TypeScript, and modern React development
  • Experience shipping mobile features end-to-end, from design through release and monitoring
  • Working knowledge of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java)
  • Experience owning projects from design through delivery, with the ability to make tradeoffs and communicate rationale
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and cross-functional partners, surfacing risks early and contributing to clear scope/estimates
  • Proven ability to mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
  • Fluent with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, etc.) and able to articulate both delivery acceleration and associated risks
