About the role

Senior leadership role leading a diverse team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects in the APJ region, guiding design of impactful solutions and driving growth through collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing, inclusive pre-sales team
  • Foster an environment of belonging, continuous learning, and psychological safety that reflects Databricks’ values of customer focus, teamwork, and diversity
  • Work closely with Sales and other teams to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven, value-focused solutions
  • Establish best practices that improve team efficiency, collaboration, and business impact
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and partners, acting as a strategic advisor in their digital transformation journey
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Represent Databricks as part of the regional leadership team, contributing to our local presence and inclusive culture

Qualifications

  • Experience leading field engineering or pre-sales teams
  • Strong collaboration with Sales and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to design and communicate complex solutions to enterprise customers
  • Leadership experience in APJ region preferred
