About the role

Engineering Lead role combining hands-on technical contribution with leadership of a small team, focused on building scalable, high-quality real-time and AI-native infrastructure at Attio.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute across the stack, delivering features end-to-end (Backend: Typescript/Node.js/Go/GCP or Frontend: React)
  • Recruit and develop a top-class engineering team
  • Design and evolve technical architecture to support scale
  • Lead projects and make product decisions based on customer interactions
  • Represent Attio’s Product & Engineering values internally and externally

Qualifications

  • Experience designing secure, scalable, reliable backend systems
  • Excellent knowledge of modern cloud architectures (GCP or AWS)
  • Demonstrable deep expertise with Node.js/Typescript or Go for backend, or React for frontend
  • Experience managing a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to the wider team and influence decisions
  • Desire and aptitude for leading and growing a great engineering team
