About the role

Founding, on-the-ground executive role to establish Light's presence in a new market, owning local compliance, market understanding, and cross-functional alignment to grow country ARR.

Responsibilities

  • Sitting across from finance leaders. Real conversations to uncover needs and translate into actionable specs for engineers.
  • Being the connective tissue between customer, product, and commercial; ensuring learnings in-market influence product and sales.
  • Owning the local rulebook: compliance, regulation, filings, and understanding country-specific finance practices and ensuring they appear in product and pitch.
  • Having a public point of view: bring finance background and market-specific perspective into roadmap, prospect interactions, events, and brand presence.
  • Closing deals with London behind you; leverage market/customer understanding to land conversations while being supported by sales.

Qualifications

  • The thing you built from nothing (company/market/GTM motion/product).
  • Credibility in front of a CFO with finance background or equivalent buyer credibility.
  • 2+ years as a founder or co-founder.
  • 6+ years somewhere fast in high-growth tech, top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, or equivalent track record.
  • Structured thinking under mess with exceptional analytical instincts.
  • Fluency in your market's language and English.
