About the role

Founding BDR at Credal, responsible for shaping first-touch outreach, building outbound playbooks, and bridging initial conversations to the sales team to drive Credal’s growth in frontier AI security and governance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape our first-touch strategy, from crisp, personalized emails and warm introductions to thoughtful cold outreach and creative campaigns
  • Build the outbound playbook, working directly with our GTM and leadership team to figure out what messaging resonates, which channels work, and how we scale what works
  • Hold high-signal initial conversations, understand a prospect's pain points, and seamlessly bridge them to the rest of our team
  • Share real-time market feedback directly with our engineering and marketing teams to refine our narrative and product roadmap
  • As our first BDR, you'll have a clear, direct path to expand into an Account Executive, Growth, or customer-facing leadership role as the company scales

Qualifications

  • High ownership and bias toward action
  • Ability to write with clarity, empathy, and conciseness
  • Deep curiosity about technology and ability to discuss AI and security concepts
  • Resilience and competitiveness in the face of rejection
  • Commercial instincts and understanding of enterprise buying decisions and buying intent
  • Bonus points: prior BDR/SDR or outbound experience at an early-stage or developer-focused startup; familiarity with modern AI or developer tools landscape
