About the role

Senior User Experience Researcher focused on the patient journey in mental healthcare, shaping research to improve discovery, booking, and onboarding experiences for patients across web and mobile surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research focused on the patient experience from discovery to booking and attending first session.
  • Identify opportunities, frame ambiguous product questions, and translate patient insights into clear recommendations.
  • Translate qualitative and behavioral data into decisions that shape what we build, test, and prioritize.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Data/Analytics, and Marketing to ground product decisions in rigorous research.
  • Own a product area end-to-end, guiding cross-functional teams to drive measurable improvements in patient experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of UX Research experience, with strength across qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research.
  • High degree of ownership; ability to independently build and lead a research program from opportunities to influencing product decisions.
  • Experience researching and improving acquisition, onboarding, activation, conversion, or other critical product journeys, with measurable impact.
  • Methodological rigor and speed; ability to deliver high-quality research quickly with appropriate tradeoffs.
  • Strategic problem framing to turn ambiguous questions into decision-oriented research plans.
  • Cross-functional influence and ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills to synthesize findings into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
