About the role

Senior technical adviser role focused on defining technical success plans, guiding adoption of Elastic solutions, and driving customer value and ARR growth through collaboration with account teams and services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the customer derives significant value, eliminates technical frictions, and drives uptake of Elastic solutions to grow annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Collaborate with Account Executive and Solutions Architect to provide ongoing technical coverage and support.
  • Define the technical success plan for each customer outlining optimal use of Elastic solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure a successful technical customer journey from onboarding to adoption while continuously driving consumption of Elastic solutions.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align them with customer business goals.
  • Identify and eliminate technical frictions with customers to ease adoption and implementation.
  • Liaise between customers and support to optimize resolution experience and adoption curve.
  • As a hands-on technical authority, collaborate with the Service Team to deliver personalized solutions.
  • Translate customer business needs into technical requirements for Elastic solutions.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and handover to account team to grow ARR.
  • Foster ongoing customer relationships to increase utilization and drive ARR.
  • Review and assess customer consumption, proactively suggesting upgrades and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (highly preferred).
  • Validated experience in Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer roles, with hands-on Elastic or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and aligning them with business objectives (a plus).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish relationships with customers and teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with history of delivering innovative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
