About the role

Graphic Designer to join Jane Street's Creative Engagement team in London, shaping and caring for the firm's visual identity across departments, programmes, spaces and events. Role focuses on turning abstract ideas into clear, engaging designs for prints, digital assets, conference branding, puzzles/games, swag, packaging, logos and brand systems. A design generalist role with collaborative work across the team.

Responsibilities

  • Create print and digital assets for recruiting materials, conference booth visuals, puzzles and games, swag and branded packaging, logos and brand systems.
  • Shape and care for how the firm looks across departments, programmes, spaces and events.
  • Collaborate with team, pitch in where needed as a design generalist.
  • Present work to stakeholders and provide clear, useful feedback on others' designs.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of design experience across a range of project types and scales
  • Excellent typography, layout and colour fundamentals with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages from brief to final files
  • Understand production: prepress, fabrication specs and handoff to web development
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint; comfortable with Google Suite (Slides and Docs)
  • Experience presenting work to stakeholders and handling feedback/iterations
  • Ability to give clear feedback on other designers' work
  • Curiosity about the maths or trading concepts behind projects
  • Fluent in English
