About the role

Finance & Strategy Associate at Conveo, responsible for operating and strengthening the finance function during hypergrowth, combining hands-on financial operations with strategic analyses to inform major business decisions and support fundraising through Series B and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, build, and scale Conveo’s financial model and KPIs in collaboration with the CFO and leadership
  • Provide analysis and financial insight behind capital allocation, revenue and expenses, hiring, and growth decisions
  • Proactively identify what matters, challenge assumptions, and develop deep understanding of financial performance
  • Own financial reporting for investors and support fundraising efforts
  • Over time contribute to topics beyond finance including tax, compliance, fundraising, go-to-market, internationalisation, and strategic projects
  • Develop and maintain cash burn and runway management, KPI tracking, and scenario analyses
  • Support ESOP & commission plans, pricing, deal economics, and capital allocation
  • Prepare Series B fundraising materials and assist in financial due diligence

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, PE/VC, or a high-growth startup
  • Model mastery: three-statement modelling, scenario analysis, business cases, and ad-hoc models
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to translate numbers for non-finance stakeholders
  • Unmatched interest in high-growth startups
  • Strong SaaS metrics understanding: ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, burn multiple and/or consumption-based models
  • Familiarity with accounting
  • Ability to start in September
  • Willingness and right to work in UK
  • Fluent in English
