About the role

Senior Product Engineer at Conveo, a YC-backed AI-powered consumer insights platform. Full-stack role owning end-to-end product from user problem to shipped code, with emphasis on React/TypeScript frontend, API design, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and AI-powered features. On a fast-growing team with direct CTO collaboration and ownership of product direction.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full stack, from the interface to the infrastructure
  • Lead frontend architecture in React and TypeScript; set quality bar for components, state management, and performance
  • Design APIs and work with PostgreSQL; manage background jobs and async workflows
  • Ship complete features end-to-end, including AI-powered ones built on LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and async pipelines
  • Be the engineering voice in customer conversations; translate feedback into scoped product decisions
  • Use AI throughout to reason, build, review, and test; stay current on frontier models and incorporate them into shipping

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Strong backend experience: designing APIs, PostgreSQL, background jobs and async workflows
  • Solid frontend skills with React
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP) — familiarity with S3, media pipelines, deployment tooling
  • Experience building AI-driven applications (prompt engineering, LLM APIs, fine-tuning a plus)
  • Ability to independently lead projects from concept to launch
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; detail-oriented
  • Collaborative mindset; autonomous in a small, fast-paced team
