About the role

Senior Product Engineer role at Conveo (London, UK) building an AI-powered consumer insights platform. Owns full stack from user problem to shipped product, heavily frontend with React/TypeScript, backend APIs, cloud infra, and AI-powered features. Collaborative, customer-facing, and data/story driven with strong emphasis on AI throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full stack, from the interface to the infrastructure
  • Lead frontend architecture in React and TypeScript; quality bar for components, state management, and performance
  • Design APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and ship end-to-end features including AI-powered ones built on LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and async pipelines
  • Be the engineering voice in customer conversations; translate feedback into scoped product decisions and follow through
  • Use AI to reason, build, review, and test at every stage; stay current on frontier models and apply them to shipping
  • Collaborate in a small, fast-paced team; report to engineering leads and work closely with CTO

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Strong backend experience: API design, PostgreSQL, background jobs/async workflows
  • Solid frontend skills with React
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP) including S3, media pipelines, deployment tooling
  • Experience building AI-driven applications (prompt engineering, LLM APIs; fine-tuning a plus)
  • Ability to independently lead projects from concept to launch
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication; detail-oriented
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work autonomously in a small team
