About the role

Senior Product Engineer at Conveo.ai (YC-backed) responsible for owning the full stack from user problem to shipped product, shaping product direction, and delivering end-to-end features including AI-powered components.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full stack, from the interface to the infrastructure; lead frontend architecture in React/TypeScript, design APIs, manage cloud infrastructure (AWS), and ship complete features end-to-end including AI-powered ones built on LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and async pipelines.
  • Be the engineering voice in every customer conversation; join customer calls, translate feedback into scoped product decisions, and follow through.
  • Use AI throughout to reason, build, review, and test; stay current on frontier models and apply them to shipping.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Strong backend experience: designing APIs, PostgreSQL, background jobs and async workflows
  • Solid frontend skills with React
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP) including S3, media pipelines, deployment tooling
  • Experience building AI-driven applications (prompt engineering, working with LLM APIs; fine-tuning experience a plus)
  • Ability to independently lead projects from concept to launch
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication; detail-oriented
  • Collaborative mindset; able to work autonomously in a small, fast-paced team
