Responsibilities

  • Contribute to real predictive models in forecasting, matching, and scoring systems.
  • Pull and wrangle data with SQL from Snowflake.

  • Apply statistics rigorously to distinguish signal from noise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, or related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience), graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Strong fundamentals in statistics and probability (hypothesis testing, regression, judgment on model validity).
  • Working Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy) and SQL.
  • Projects demonstrating real quantitative work (research, internships, Kaggle competitions, hackathons, personal modeling projects).
  • Bias toward action and momentum; ability to ship simple models that work.
  • Curiosity about systems, comfort with ambiguity, and tolerance for controlled chaos.
  • Confident communication and ability to explain models to non-experts; receptive to feedback.
  • Attention to detail and care in healthcare data.
