About the role

Elastic is hiring a Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) to multiply its technical reach through a defined portfolio of partners (SIs, resellers, MSSPs, cloud providers) in the US Public Sector, with a Florida Panhandle focus. The role centers on driving partner-sourced pipeline, increasing partner technical capacity, and co-creating repeatable solutions, with up to ~30% travel and a presales background required.

Responsibilities

  • Generate approved partner deal registrations, jointly owned with Partner Managers for your territory.
  • Run partner-tailored sales playbooks on registered deals: qualify the deal shape, support intake and technical scoping, and help partners attach their own services, lifting average deal size.
  • Accelerate partner-led opportunities, hands-on labs and proofs of concept, in collaboration with account AEs and SAs.
  • Stay current on competitive dynamics and market trends, equipping partners with strong Why Elastic positioning.
  • Own the technical relationships and named champions at each partner in your portfolio; build trusted advisor status with senior technical stakeholders.
  • Create, commit and maintain a Technical Engagement Plan per focus partner, the technical section of the Joint Business Plan, and run quarterly read-outs.
  • Deliver enablement and certification roadmaps, accreditations & certifications, moving partners up a technical maturity model.
  • Lead hands-on technical lab workshops across Elastic products to build partner confidence and fluency.
  • Co-architect solution blueprints and reference architectures with partners, including hyperscalers.
  • Build reusable demos, sales cards and battlecards for partners to run without Elastic in the room; co-publish reference win stories and joint blog posts.
  • Author customer-facing content (white papers, blogs, sales collateral) informed by market trends and partner relationships.
  • Support technical deployments of Elastic in partner labs and demonstration environments.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1+ years of pre-sales experience in the software sector, ideally partner-facing in US Public Sector (channel, alliances, SI/GSI or MSSP ecosystems).
  • One-to-many mindset with ability to enable multiple engineers; demonstrated impact through enablement.
  • Working knowledge of security operations (SIEM, endpoint, cloud security) and/or observability; understanding of AI and semantic search technologies.
  • Experience architecting or operating solutions on AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
  • Commercial fluency to translate technical capability into business case for partners and customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and self-driven; ability to focus and deliver amid competing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across partner and cross-functional teams and also independently.
  • Skilled at leading through influence and aligning partners and internal stakeholders around shared goals.
  • Technical experience in at least one Elastic solution area is highly desired; cross-domain fluency across AI/search, security operations, and observability is a differentiator.
  • Willingness to travel ~30% to partner offices, events, and conferences.
  • Must be located in or near the Florida Panhandle (Pensacola, Fort Walton Beach, or nearby) or relocate.
