About the role
Lead Actuary overseeing admitted P&C rate, rule, and form filings from initial regulatory assessment through final DOI disposition and implementation for a remote-first insurance startup.
Responsibilities
- Build rating plans and filing strategy
- Develop reviewer relationships across a growing map of states
- Qualify into new lines of business with the reviewed experience and education to match
- Take a realistic path toward appointed actuary and chief actuary as the company grows
- Build the actuarial function you will eventually lead
Qualifications
- You are a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
- You passed Exam 6 (United States)
- You have at least three years of actuarial work experience
