About the role
General Manager for a 24/7 coffee shop/workspace cafe in NYC/SF, responsible for day-to-day cafe operations, cash handling, and event support, with CFPM certification requirement and in-person work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, matcha, and smoothies to spec
- Run the register and handle cash and card transactions
- Keep the bar, counter, and seating area clean and stocked
- Support event setup for occasional evening meetups hosted at the cafe
Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older
- Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working overnight or weekend shifts (not required for all applicants, but a plus)
- Prior barista or food service experience preferred, not required. We train
- Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) REQUIRED
