About the role
Founding role leading company-wide operations at Prescience, a seed-stage health insurance startup building an AI-driven, vertically integrated healthcare system. Own end-to-end workflows, scale onboarding, finance, regulatory interactions, and team-building; partner with engineering to design and automate processes.
Responsibilities
- Standing up processes to onboard employers and their employees in days (not months)
- Owning finance and the flow of real dollars through the plan
- Working with regulators, carriers, brokers, providers, and pharmacies
- Hiring and building out the team beneath you
- Designing the operations that enable software to scale (conceptualize process, validate by hand, then automate with engineering)
- Picking problems, owning them end to end, and delivering results
- Developing and implementing cross-functional workflows and automations to support rapid growth
Qualifications
- Background in Chief of Staff, BizOps, Finance, Consulting, or academic domains (research or medicine)
- Analytical rigor and detail orientation
- Proven ownership of end-to-end processes
- Comfort navigating multiple problem spaces in a single day
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and identify gaps
- Strong communication skills
- Bias toward systems and process automation (including AI)
