About the role

Murphy AI is building AI agents for debt collection in banks, lenders and collection agencies. This is a paid consultant/advisor role, fully remote, targeting experienced debt collections professionals to validate and validate AI-driven collection processes in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Domain Review & AI Validation - Review call flows, scripts and negotiation logic used by Murphy's AI agents and flag anything that doesn't match how a real collections desk would handle it.
  • Validate cadence, cure-rate assumptions, settlement/negotiation ranges, and escalation paths against real-world practice.
  • Stress-test edge cases: disputes, renegotiation, hardship, repeat promises-to-pay, and regulatory triggers.
  • Compliance & Local Nuance - Flag anything that could create compliance risk under British consumer-protection rules.
  • Advise on tone, channel mix and contact-frequency norms considered acceptable vs. abusive in the Netherlands market.
  • Knowledge Transfer - Join periodic working sessions with Murphy's product and engineering teams.
  • Share real examples, scripts and playbooks from your own collections experience (anonymized, no client data).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in collections.
  • Current or recent (≤2 years) experience at a named bank, DCA, servicer or BPO.
  • A title of Manager, Team Lead, Head, Director or VP (front-line titles qualify only if you've since moved into managing a team).
