About the role

Murphy AI deploys AI agents for banks and is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer based in Barcelona to build and deploy Murphy in Brazil, working with customers and teams across Product, Engineering, Deployment and Revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technically robust client configurations
  • Optimize agent performance through structured iteration
  • Act as the technical counterpart to clients
  • Provide structured product feedback
  • Design scalable, reusable solutions

Qualifications

  • Native Portuguese speaker with fluent English
  • Based in Barcelona and comfortable with international travel, particularly to Brazil
  • Background in Data Science or Data Analysis
  • Strong technical foundations and the ability to write and understand production-quality code
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Deep product and systems understanding: ability to reason end-to-end about data flows, architecture, dependencies, and system behavior
  • Analytical and performance-driven thinking: comfortable working with KPIs, performance metrics, and iteration cycles
  • Extreme ownership of configuration quality: high bar for technical correctness and long-term maintainability
