About the role

Sales Engineer focused on video protection and illegal dumping/safety surveillance, acting as a technical reference to transform complex client needs into clear, compliant, and sellable solutions. Partners with commercial, operations, hardware, and product teams to support sales cycles and product iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany the sales team in pre-sales technically and strategically
  • Design video protection and illegal dumping solutions (hardware, installation, field constraints, operation)
  • Define client needs considering technical, legal, and operational constraints
  • Participate in client meetings and on-site visits to qualify installation contexts and secure technical choices
  • Be autonomous on bids (AO): analysis, technical responses, regulatory compliance
  • Build, defend and adjust technical proposals and pricing with sales teams
  • Handle multiple projects concurrently: ongoing deals, handovers, client follow-up, internal coordination
  • Ensure high-quality post-sale handovers with Operations, Customer Success and Hardware teams
  • Provide field feedback to contribute to product evolution in a rapid iteration launch context
  • Take responsibility for technical go/no-go decisions and justify feasibility, refusing un-deliverable solutions

Qualifications

  • Expert in video protection: CCTV, cameras, VMS, installation and hardware maintenance constraints
  • Significant field experience in integrators, SaaS, or equivalent environments
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory constraints related to video protection
  • Ability to structure and defend a technically and financially sound offer against demanding stakeholders
  • Experience with public procurement processes and formalized bidding
