About the role

Senior Marketing Scientist role at Snap Inc. focused on driving scaled adoption of measurement practices for Chinese performance advertisers, building measurement programs, and applying advanced analytics to improve ad performance and advertiser value.

Responsibilities

  • Build measurement programs for the China business to drive products and planning best practices.
  • Use advanced data analytic techniques to identify performance drivers for campaigns across E-commerce, Gaming, and other verticals; provide inputs for hypothesis testing to vertical marketing science leaders.
  • Lead performance improvement across top advertisers with programmatic approaches, learning-agenda strategies, experimental design, causal analytics, and ads efficacy testing.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify, test, and scale new ad products, features, and solutions that positively impact advertiser value.
  • Lead scoping and development of custom multi-study meta-analysis with Data Science and R&D to understand impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and media.
  • Build measurement capability and advocacy across your vertical and with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent years of experience
  • 6+ years of advanced analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company
  • Experience with ads measurement in user growth and acquisition or eCommerce
  • Ability to run and execute SQL queries across a large data set.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
