About the role

AI-focused software engineer building end-to-end features across Go services and Vue interfaces, with emphasis on install/instrumentation, agent behavior visibility, and LLM-backed product capabilities. Based in New York City, hybrid work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Full-stack feature delivery: Ship full-stack features end to end across Go services and Vue interfaces.
  • Customer install and instrumentation: Build the install and instrumentation experience customers drop into their own agentic systems.
  • Agent behavior visibility: Capture agent behavior and make it legible for customers, including tool calls, failures, latency, and model-tool contract interactions.
  • LLM-backed product development: Work on prompt/context design, tool calling, evaluation, and related failure modes as part of AI-enabled features.
  • Safe, incremental shipping: Ship in small increments behind feature flags with Jest and Cypress testing.
  • Production ownership: Own production deployments with logging, monitoring, and follow-up work to reduce recurrence.
  • AI-enabled workflow: Use AI tools in development workflow with accountability for what ships.
  • Team collaboration: Provide meaningful code reviews, documentation, and clear estimates.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience shipping full-stack features to production in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Java, Python, or C++) and one modern frontend framework (Vue, React, or Angular).
  • Experience designing APIs and building services on AWS or GCP against SQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs (API integration, prompt/context design, or tool calling).
  • Experience with Agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) and LLM evaluation tooling.
  • Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with risk-based approach and safe rollout patterns (feature flags, canary).
  • Demonstrated ability to take a well-scoped problem to production independently.
  • Active use of AI tools in development workflow.
  • Strong written communication skills and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
