About the role

Summer internship in product engineering at incident.io. Full-time, 3-month program starting in June 2027 and finishing in September 2027. Interns work as full-fledged engineers, shipping real features with ownership, mentorship, and exposure to AI-native capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Sit inside a product team from day one with same stand-ups, code reviews, and production access as full-time engineers.
  • Own at least one meaningful project end to end: idea, build, ship, watch people use it.
  • Work on Go, TypeScript with React, and Postgres in a Google Cloud environment (GKE, Cloud SQL).
  • Contribute to AI-native features (agents that investigate incidents, explain, and fix things).
  • Operate with full ownership and meet hard deadlines, shipping fast enough to learn from potential mistakes.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and receive mentorship while being treated as a full-time engineer.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field).
  • Knowledge of any programming language such as Go, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails or JavaScript.
