About the role

Legal operations role responsible for managing Parallel's contracts management system end-to-end, administering Ironclad, negotiating smaller items, and triaging larger items with counsel. Requires tech fluency, AI tooling experience in contract review or legal ops, and strong process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and administer Ironclad as the contracts management system, building and maintaining workflows, routing approvals and signatures, and ensuring the repository is reliable for reporting.
  • Negotiate smaller commercial items (NDAs, order forms) within playbook, triage anything outside it to counsel with clear recommendations.
  • Leverage AI tooling for first-pass markup and playbook checks to move faster and improve efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and legal teams to streamline contract processes and improve outcomes.
  • Maintain and improve processes to avoid rework and ensure clear communication and documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in contracts, legal operations, or commercial legal support at a technology or SaaS company
  • Experience as the Ironclad admin (not just a user) and ability to build and debug workflows from scratch
  • Experience negotiating contracts independently and prioritizing issues for goodwill
  • Tech fluent with experience using AI tooling in contract review or legal ops
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • JD or paralegal certification helpful but not required
