About the role

Solutions Architect (Genie) at Databricks focused on early-stage product lines, partnering with Account Executives to drive adoption and revenue growth across a defined territory in India (Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
  • As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect and "champion," building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
  • Enable clients at scale through workshops and developing customer-facing collateral that helps increase technical knowledge and thought leadership.
  • Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams
  • Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level data strategy and product adoption.
  • Credibility in influencing analytics, BI, and natural-language / agentic AI products, with market insight to shape roadmap capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of AI governance across different tools and models and ability to guide customers through security blockers and concerns
  • Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate in a highly coordinated, cross-functional effort across GTM and R&D teams.
  • Experience architecting governed analytics solutions that integrate semantic models, data warehouses, and metric layers within broader Lakehouse and AI ecosystems.
  • Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, AI, ML, governance, semantic modeling, natural-language analytics, and streaming.
  • Undergraduate degree (or higher) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or similar.
