About the role

Frontend engineer with a product-focused mindset to join Reddit's Brand Ad Formats team, building ad experiences, collaborating across product/design/engineering, and contributing through the full development cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Build Ad experiences and create patterns for Reddit’s web app that enhance our ads’ performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and implement sophisticated solutions for complex challenges.
  • Engage in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Web Engineering
  • Proficient in Typescript and Javascript
  • Willingness to tackle the challenges of creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps
  • Experience with automated testing best practices, code quality / design patterns, observability, etc.
  • Skilled at performing insightful code reviews, and receiving feedback themselves
  • Experience leveraging GenAI tools to increase software engineering productivity
  • Excellent communication skills: able to collaborate with teams in a fully remote environment, and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
