About the role

Electrical Engineer position focusing on hardware development and failure analysis for Specs/Specs Inc. hardware, with collaboration across firmware, software, thermal, RF, and engineering teams. Based in Taipei City, full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Support Electrical Engineering execution across development builds onsite at contract manufacturers
  • Own challenging failure analysis – including hand-on debugging, root cause analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Test and validate designs
  • Collaborate with firmware, software, thermal, RF to align on execution
  • Define, design, and review schematic and layout for PCB designs

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent years of experience
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in electrical or hardware engineering
  • Open to travel to China and US up to 20%
