About the role
Quest Analytics is offering a Summer 2027 Internship Program in Kansas City/Overland Park, KS, with opportunities in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Science. The program pairs interns with teams to work on real products and data solutions, using AI-assisted development tools. Hybrid work arrangement in the Kansas City metro area or Rolla, MO.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle (Software Engineering track)
- Build, maintain, and optimize data infrastructure and ingestion pipelines (Data Engineering track)
- Apply statistics, machine learning, and AI to healthcare data (Data Science track)
- Collaborate with teams to plan, design, develop, test, deploy features or analyses
- Engage with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and generative AI tech
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related field
- Juniors and above (2+ years of degree experience) preferred
- Prior internship experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science is a plus
- Must live in the Kansas City metro area or Rolla, MO area
- Able to work without visa sponsorship now and in the future
