About the role
Exa is an applied AI lab building a massive-scale infrastructure for crawling, training, and serving state-of-the-art embedding models and vector databases. The IT Engineer will keep Exa running, handling IT infrastructure, device management, security, compliance, internal tooling, and onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Have experience working on end to end from device procurement, MDM, identity and access management, and endpoint security
- Help with office buildouts and operations as Exa scales
- Help Exans troubleshooting different IT issues
- Set up and manage AV and conference room infrastructure so the team can move fast without friction
- Help make sure new Exans are set up during onboarding so everyone is productive from day one
Qualifications
- Experience working in IT at a fast-growing startup
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with identity and access management
- Has experience with AV and conference room infrastructure
