About the role

Lead the end-to-end permit operations for PermitFlow in a bilingual French/English capacity, driving customer success, process optimization, and team development within Ontario/Canada-based remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary resource for customers, keeping them informed on permit status, timelines, and requirements.
  • Provide training, coaching, feedback, and direction to junior team members and oversee their work.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of permit applications, including researching requirements, preparing forms, gathering documentation, and submitting applications to the relevant authorities.
  • Produce detailed reports on permit progress, delivering regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement, implementing best practices to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Guarantee that all permit applications are complete, accurate, and compliant with jurisdictional standards and requirements.
  • Track permit statuses proactively and engage with authorities to move applications forward efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in construction permitting, project management, or similar role—ideally in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
  • Bilingual: English and French
  • Based in Ontario or willing to relocate to the area
  • Permitting expert with residential or commercial permitting experience in Quebec, including direct work with municipalities
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Leadership experience preferred (2+ years) in leading and mentoring teams
  • Customer-centric mindset with experience in customer success, customer experience, or sales
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver, able to stay calm under pressure
