About the role

Senior reporter/editor to spearhead North American coverage of leveraged finance, based in New York. Generate scoops on primary market developments in leveraged loans and high-yield bonds, with focus on AI data centers, LBOs and refinancing maturing debt. Player-coach role with potential travel and conference moderation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to break news and deliver actionable intelligence on leveraged finance.
  • An investigative mindset and good writing/editing skills.
  • An understanding of fixed income markets, a strong grasp of and an interest in the broader financial and legal markets.
  • Outstanding networking and contact building skills.
  • Excellent time management and communication ability.
  • A self-starter attitude with a cooperative approach.
