About the role

Debtwire is seeking a reporter to break news in the North American credit market, based in New York. The role involves generating scoops on stressed and distressed companies, collaborating with journalists and credit/legal analysts, and travel to industry conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to break news and deliver actionable intelligence on restructuring situations.
  • An investigative mindset and good writing skills.
  • An understanding of fixed income markets, a strong grasp of and an interest in the broader financial and legal markets.
  • Outstanding networking and contact building skills.
  • Excellent time management and communication ability.
