About the role

New grad engineers to join SpaceXAI software engineering teams, focusing on building and shipping products and systems across Grok Bot, Cloud Agents, Cursor and underlying platforms. Strong emphasis on end-to-end ownership, first principles thinking, AI tooling judiciously used while maintaining correctness.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and ship product and system features across UI and backend when needed
  • Own end-to-end projects from concept to deployment with high attention to detail
  • Collaborate on surfaces used by customers (Grok Bot, Cloud Agents, Cursor) and underlying systems
  • Apply strong fundamentals and judgment on when to leverage AI tools without compromising correctness
  • Participate in a small, high-ownership team with minimal hierarchy
  • Iterate on UI improvements and feature delivery based on user feedback

Qualifications

  • Graduating in Spring 2027 (CS, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field)
  • Built something tangible (an app, OSS, or shipped product) that can be reviewed (**required**)
  • Ability to blend software engineering with AI tooling while preserving correctness
  • Fast learner, capable of taking ownership and delivering on meaningful hard problems (internships or equivalent experience welcome)
