About the role

Embedded enterprise-focused technical role within a local Enterprise Sales Pod for the Nordics. The FDE partners with an Enterprise AE to architect and ship production solutions on Telnyx’s global network, delivering real outcomes (AI contact centers, SOC/NOC agents, global communications, etc.) rather than just demos.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with enterprise customers to understand their communications workflows, AI use cases, and integration challenges firsthand
  • Build and deploy custom implementations: AI Voice Assistants, Telnyx APIs (Voice, Messaging, Fax, Wireless), WebRTC
  • Run open-weight LLMs in customer environments or deploy self-hosted stacks behind your own serving engine
  • Deploy and operate LiteLLM as the model gateway in customer environments
  • Instrument and govern LLM usage through the gateway — cost tracking, caching, logging and observability, guardrails
  • Wire production observability for everything you ship — metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting
  • Design model routing strategies for real-time voice workloads with latency/cost/quality balance
  • Make build-vs-buy decisions between self-hosted and hosted APIs; keep code portable
  • Adapt models to customer domains: Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish language use cases; EU regulatory environments
  • Lead POCs, pilots, and production launches from whiteboard to go-live
  • Own customer outcomes — stay engaged until live and stable
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap based on field insights
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, and handoff-ready solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues
  • Travel across the Nordics as needed (hybrid role) and be based in Stockholm or willing to relocate

Qualifications

  • CS degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years building and shipping production software
  • Proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go
  • Experience with production-grade deployment: Kubernetes, secrets management, config, upgrades
  • Observability experience: Prometheus + Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Graylog/ELK
  • High-concurrency experience with Kafka or similar
  • API development from scratch (OpenAPI, REST/GraphQL, auth, rate limiting, versioning, idempotency)
  • Event-driven / cloud-native mindset
  • Exposure to SIP, WebRTC, or real-time voice/messaging systems
  • Self-sufficient with strong problem-solving and customer-facing engineering skills
  • Customer-facing engineering experience and ability to run discovery with customer teams
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Based in Stockholm or willing to relocate; legally authorized to work in Stockholm
