About the role

Engineering Manager for Launch and Websites leading full-stack teams building core product surfaces from self-serve launch journey to website design, builder, and AI-powered generation systems. Responsible for product-minded technical leadership, fast shipping, and scalable infrastructure in a product-led growth motion for independent restaurants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams of fullstack engineers building customer-facing product end-to-end (launch journey from Grader to POS, website design/builder/generation systems).
  • Make fast, high-quality decisions and ship impactful features.
  • Foster a strong, durable engineering culture across two strategically important product areas.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams.
  • Own delivery at scale with simplicity and hands-on leadership when needed.

Qualifications

  • ~3 years of experience in a software engineering management role leading fullstack product engineering teams, preferably in high-growth environments
  • Track record of leading high-performing, engaged full-stack engineering teams (not purely backend-platform or purely frontend)
  • Strong product sense with balance of speed, quality, and user impact
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React) and backend systems (e.g. Node.js)
  • High degree of cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and business teams
  • Growth or PLG experience a plus (self-serve activation, onboarding, upgrade flows)
  • Experience applying LLMs or agents a plus (research, enrichment, next-best-action, automated diagnosis)
