About the role

Onebrief is seeking an Outcome Engineer to join the AI Engineering Platform team in Salt Lake City, focusing on building multi-agent systems, governance, context/memory, evaluation frameworks, self-healing loops, and rapid prototyping for agentic software. The role emphasizes shipping product-like capabilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on experimentation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Architect Multi-Agent Systems: design orchestration layers for collaborative, stateful agentic workflows.
  • Implement Automated Governance: build guardrails and policy engines for safe autonomous systems.
  • Engineer Context and Memory: develop semantic infrastructure (knowledge graphs, vector stores) for codebase and business intent.
  • Build Rigorous Evaluation Frameworks: create testing harnesses with deterministic validation and automated metrics.
  • Design Self-Healing Loops: connect observability data to agent actions for autonomous remediation.
  • Prototype and Deploy: rapidly prototype agentic tools and deploy to production for internal and customer use.
  • Experiment and Learn: explore new models, orchestration techniques, and validation methods daily.

Qualifications

  • Strong software engineering skills and a background that could span diverse disciplines (coding, design, leadership).
  • Ability to ship products and tools, not just prototypes.
  • Experience or interest in AI, multi-agent systems, and agentic workflows.
  • Willingness to work in a high-collaboration, fast-moving environment.
