Profiling Development Associate
About the role
Associate on the Profiling Development team supporting high-throughput proteomic workflows, bridging biology, engineering and data to enable scalable, robust profiling for proteomics discovery.
Responsibilities
- Plan, Execute and Validate Profiling Workflows – Independently execute profiling experiments to support the validation of new workflows and protocol updates. With guidance, develop detailed experimental plans, coordinate execution needs, and generate high-quality, well-documented data.
- Contribute to Development Projects and Continuous Improvement – Analyze and interpret experimental results using established metrics to support development, root cause investigations, and follow-up experiments to improve workflow performance and data quality.
- Support Deployment and Change Control – Aid deployment of new/updated workflows by supporting pilot runs, updating SOPs and technical documentation, and participating in change control; collaborate with Scientists and cross-functional partners to ensure successful changes.
- Support Lab Operations and Team Development – Contribute to day-to-day lab operations, including reagent preparation, instrument readiness, and experimental coordination.
Qualifications
- M.Sc in a biotechnology-related field or equivalent, with 1–3 years of relevant hands-on lab experience (academic or industry).
- Familiarity with ELISA, flow cytometry, bead-based assays, bio-conjugation & purification, spectroscopy, microscopy, PCR, or cell culture.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document work clearly and completely.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
