About the role

Emergent is hiring a content creator based in Bangalore to be the face of Emergent on video. The role involves appearing on camera, developing ideas, writing scripts, self-shooting, editing collaboration, and producing content for US/Europe audiences. Full-time, reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Appear on camera as the recurring face of Emergent across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Bring ideas for videos and write/rework scripts to sound like you when spoken aloud
  • Shoot on a regular weekly cadence, including self-shot content when needed
  • Turn around timely videos within 48 hours of trends or news moments
  • Host formats involving other people: interviews with users, founders, and guests
  • Work with editors on pacing, hooks, and cuts
  • Show up on camera in brand replies, community posts, and live sessions where appropriate
  • Review performance data and adjust approach based on what is landing

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience being the face of video content for a brand or personal channel
  • A portfolio or body of work with performance metrics
  • Native or near-native English with a North American or European accent
  • Ability to perform for US/European audiences without translation; knowledge of relevant internet culture
  • Legally able to work in India
  • Strong sense of what makes viewers stop scrolling in the first few seconds
  • Ability to self-shoot and self-direct when needed
  • Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate
  • Comfort with learning the product well enough to demo it on camera
