About the role

Sr Video Producer on the Media Productions team at Databricks, responsible for managing video production projects from ideation through final delivery and collaborating across teams to plan, design, and support on-demand video and live production experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and external partners to help create various production projects and assets.
  • Management of pre-production, production and post-production tasks for multimedia (audio/video) projects.
  • Coordinate budgeting and logistics to each video project needs
  • Staffing a production team using internal and external resources on a per project basis.
  • Travel to shoot locations for scouting and developing pre-production assets.
  • Ability to build and manage a project budget and production schedule.
  • Comfortable working with vendors to reserve and ship required equipment.
  • Assisting with script writing and overall creative direction.
  • Comfortable operating camera, lighting, and audio equipment to capture engaging and aesthetically pleasing footage in person and fully remote.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition.
  • Proper management of media assets.
  • Capture and evaluate analytics to calculate a project's ROI based on predefined success metrics.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills
  • Manage project timelines, tracking budget, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Direct on-camera talent and crew members during shoots

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with developing web-based video content
  • 5+ years at a digital-first brand or agency
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Iconik, Kaltura, OpenReel, Databricks.
  • B.A. in film production or similar field or equivalent experience
  • Quick decision-making ability under pressure
  • You can balance competing priorities and work alone or within a team equally well
  • You have excellent reliability, dependability, and integrity
  • You have solid attention to detail, accuracy and are highly organized
  • You have great people and communication skills and are driven to solve people's problems
