About the role

Customer Solutions Engineer responsible for owning a merchant's integration with Yuno from discovery to production, delivering tailored payment orchestration solutions and managing end-to-end implementation across LATAM, with strong collaboration between Sales, Product, Engineering, and merchant developers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand their payment stack, requirements, and constraints.
  • Run product demos and deliver technical presentations to engineering and product audiences.
  • Design payment orchestration solutions and integration architectures tailored to each merchant.
  • Respond to RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical due diligence with Sales.
  • Own the end-to-end implementation, from kickoff and integration plan to testing and go-live.
  • Guide merchant developers through Yuno's APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and payment method configurations.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across payment flows, API logs, and third-party providers.
  • Build reusable demo environments, integration guides, and technical documentation that shorten future cycles.
  • Hand off live merchants to Technical Account Management with complete context and documentation.
  • Feed recurring merchant requirements and integration friction back to Product and Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
  • +4 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical implementation, or integration roles.
  • Hands-on technical skills: REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, HTTP debugging, and at least one programming language for demos.
  • Payments knowledge: gateways, PSPs, acquirers, card networks, 3DS, tokenization, refunds, chargebacks, and alternative payment methods.
  • Experience running technical conversations with engineering teams and commercial stakeholders.
  • Proven track record delivering integration projects with external development teams on defined timelines.
  • Comfortable working with SQL and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or similar.
  • Ability to manage multiple merchants and deals in parallel without losing technical depth.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities and processes evolve quickly.
