About the role

Staff Product Manager to define and evolve the foundational modeling capabilities powering CaptivateIQ products. Focus on modeling primitives, structure, state concepts, interoperability, interfaces, and AI-ready modeling to support multiple domains and future AI interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Modeling Platform strategy and roadmap. Define the foundational capabilities and primitives that enable CaptivateIQ to represent complex business models across products and domains.
  • Define durable platform abstractions. Identify common needs across products and determine what belongs in the shared platform versus the consuming product, including abstraction boundaries and evolution.
  • Partner deeply with Engineering on data models, schemas, APIs, system behavior, performance constraints, and architectural tradeoffs.
  • Ground platform decisions in real modeling problems, understanding data, relationships, assumptions, calculations, and outcomes across domains such as incentive compensation, sales planning, and FP&A.
  • Connect platform architecture to product experience. Turn underlying capabilities into intuitive modeling experiences for business users.
  • Drive alignment across teams by coordinating Product, Engineering, Design, and domain experts to surface tradeoffs and leverage across CaptivateIQ.
  • Build for an AI-native future by ensuring the platform supports agents to understand and interact with models while maintaining deterministic execution.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally with platform, data, modeling, analytics, or other technically complex products.
  • Track record of building shared platform capabilities used across multiple products, teams, or use cases.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to partner deeply with senior engineers on architecture and system design.
  • Experience with or strong understanding of modeling systems, including data, relationships, calculations, and business logic.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership with a track record of driving clarity and decisions across Engineering, Design, Product, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment and communication skills, especially in ambiguous problems and complex tradeoffs.
