About the role

Sales Engineer role focused on serving as the technical expert in partnerships with the sales team, helping accounting & finance leaders understand how Numeric solves complex accounting challenges. Central to major wins with demos, POCs, and discovery across mid-market and select enterprise accounts; involves shaping technical win strategies, engaging with senior finance stakeholders, and contributing to product roadmap via customer feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead demos, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements across mid-market and select enterprise accounts
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to develop technical win strategies and drive deals forward
  • Build credibility with senior finance stakeholders including CFOs, Controllers, and FDs of Finance as a trusted domain expert
  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product roadmap priorities. Partner closely with PMM and product to shape the future of the platform
  • Develop and maintain reusable demo environments, technical collateral, and enablement materials for the broader team

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of total experience, with time as a Sales Engineer/Solution Consultant or Implementation Consultant at an ERP or FP&A platform (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, or Pigment), or time in an accounting & finance org with a passion for more customer-facing work
  • Solid accounting and finance domain knowledge, with the ability to hold a credible conversation with a Controller or CFOs
  • A track record of running demos, POCs, and discovery independently on deals of real complexity
  • Based in the London
