About the role

Full Stack developer role focused on building new features end-to-end across product, backend, UI, data processing, search and AI workflows. Own systems from initial version through scaling, collaborate with product decisions, and improve architecture, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build parts of the product end to end — backend, user interface, and infrastructure.
  • Own new systems from the first version through real-world usage and subsequent scaling.
  • Work closely with the people making product decisions so we can ship quickly, gather feedback, and improve immediately.
  • Identify problems yourself and solve them rather than waiting for a detailed specification for every step.
  • Improve the architecture, performance, and reliability of the systems whenever you see an opportunity to make them better.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Good familiarity with modern AI tools and development environments such as Cursor and Claude Code.
  • Experience processing large volumes of data, particularly unstructured text.
  • Understanding of search and information retrieval systems, including vector databases, embeddings, RAG, and indexing.
  • Ability to build from scratch and work comfortably in an environment where not everything is predefined or documented.
  • Strong attention to detail and a habit of catching edge cases, bugs, and inconsistencies before they reach users.
  • Strong systems and architectural thinking, without adding unnecessary complexity where the right approach is simply to move fast and get things done.
