About the role

Role at EliseAI focusing on managing and executing technical strategic partnerships, spanning end-to-end integration work across utility billing, collections, water/metering, payments, and other property-tech verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of concurrent integrations, end to end: actively driving 10-15+ partner integrations across categories like utility billing, collections, water/metering, payments, and lease guarantee vendors; scope requirements, design integration approach, drive development, manage testing, and achieve go-live dates; maintain stability afterward
  • Be the technical point of contact for partners: collaborate with vendor engineering and product teams on data needs, API usage, implementation decisions, and unblock issues mid-build
  • Partner with Engineering to shape our API and integration architecture: identify API gaps, scope solutions with integrations team, and make data-flow architecture calls between EliseAI and partner systems
  • Document and standardize integration patterns: create reusable patterns to onboard new vendors faster
  • Manage sandbox and test environments: create/maintain sandbox orgs and test data for each partner and improve internal test data tooling
  • Triage and prioritize a high-volume workload: re-prioritize across projects, flag at-risk timelines early, and escalate blockers to keep launches on track
  • Continuously improve the ecosystem: contribute to partner-facing documentation, API usage monitor, partner certification program, and self-service vendor/sandbox tooling

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Partnerships, Integrations, or Backend Engineering
  • Strong technical foundation, including understanding of system architecture fundamentals and APIs; comfortable reading and reasoning about Python or similar
  • Experience working directly with external technical stakeholders (e.g., vendor engineering teams, customer technical teams)
  • Proven ability to manage a large number of concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines—prioritizing ruthlessly without dropping balls
  • Ability to think strategically about integrations: assess tradeoffs, prioritize effectively, and decide when to push back on a partner vs. build a custom solution
  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to manage timelines, dependencies, escalate issues, and drive work to completion under hard go-live dates
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams; comfortable documenting technical workflows for reuse
  • Nice to have: exposure to proptech, utility billing, collections, or payments/ledger workflows
