About the role

Product Manager responsible for defining and driving Plaid's data-supply traffic, health, and cost-efficiency. Leads a new product area focusing on constrained provider capacity, traffic scaling across products, and paid data access economics within the Network Enablement and Access group.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own Plaid's strategy and roadmap for data-supply traffic, health, and cost efficiency.
  • Build and prioritize traffic-optimization initiatives, including machine-learning model opportunities and provider concessions.
  • Serve as the bridge between data-provider relationship teams and internal product teams, translating constraints into internal priorities.
  • Partner deeply with engineering and data teams to understand system behavior and turn analysis into decisions.
  • Establish and track core traffic and cost metrics, identify risks, and measure progress.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience, including 5+ in product management or equivalent founder/operator roles.
  • Analytical rigor with comfort working directly with data, cost models, and operational metrics.
  • Deep technical fluency in large-scale systems, load management, API platforms, and ML models.
  • Platform & systems thinking mindset; design for reuse and long-term impact.
  • Leadership, stakeholder influence, and communication; ability to work cross-functionally and explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
