About the role
AI-native office leasing broker Tandem is hiring a Real Estate Lead in NYC to map and build relationships with landlords, brokers, and building owners, while supporting live deals and feeding market data back into the product.
Responsibilities
- Map the who’s who of NYC real estate: landlords, brokers, and building owners who matter
- Build real relationships with those people in person and on the phone
- Help them understand how Tandem can fill their space faster than anyone else
- Maintain an up-to-date picture of the market: what’s available, at what price, and what’s coming
- Work across supply and live deals (many in person across Manhattan)
- Tour spaces with founders, help companies work through offers, and support deals end to end
- Learn and contribute to product development by feeding back which buildings matter and what information is worth knowing
Qualifications
- Based in New York City and happy to spend most of your time out in it
- Willing to get a NY real estate license quickly (we'll cover it)
- 1+ years of experience in a two-sided, outreach-heavy role (recruiting, expert networks, or sales)
- People-oriented with strong conversational skills
- Ability to read a room and tailor approaches to move deals
