About the role

Senior Forward Deployed Engineer role on the Wingman team at Emergent. Backend engineer with experience building and deploying AI agents, working directly with customers to turn real-world challenges into scalable solutions. 5 days/week in-office in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy numerous AI agents for the Wingman team
  • Work directly with customers to understand technical and business challenges and turn them into scalable solutions
  • Own projects end-to-end, from requirements to deployment and iteration
  • Debug complex issues across applications, integrations, APIs, and workflows

Qualifications

  • Strong backend engineering background
  • Proven experience building and deploying AI agents in production
  • Startup background strongly preferred
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations
