Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development
  • Drive high-quality, on-time delivery of product features and platform improvements
  • Own technical execution, system design, and architectural decisions for your team's domain
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute roadmaps
  • Build a strong culture of ownership, code quality, and operational excellence
  • Hire and onboard top engineering talent as the team scales
  • Improve engineering processes, tooling, and best practices to support rapid growth
  • Ensure teams take ownership from design through production, monitoring, and iteration

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and system design skills
  • Experience building and operating production systems at scale using modern backend technologies (Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, or similar)
  • Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver with high quality
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong product mindset
