About the role

Lead a mobile engineering team to build financial tools with a strong product focus, spanning Android and iOS, and serve as the connector between mobile and the broader engineering organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an experienced engineering team of 13, consisting of Android & iOS engineers, including one backend engineer.
  • Mentor, retain, and provide feedback to high-performing engineers of all skill levels.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders, designers, product leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders to influence roadmaps and create scalable mobile approaches.
  • Translate mobile constraints and opportunities into language that resonates with backend, web, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of engineering management leading mobile and/or web engineering teams.
  • Strong expertise in iOS and Android development.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin for Android & Swift/RxSwift for iOS.
