About the role

Business Operations Manager to join Cloudflare’s CFO organization, focusing on KPI reporting, analytics capabilities, cross-functional program design, and decision-support for strategic initiatives. Hybrid role with locations in Austin, TX and San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Work on complex problems: identify root causes, execute in-depth analyses, translate data into insights or repeatable gadgets/processes
  • Lead projects through full cycle: scoping, solution design, code execution, QA, and operationalization
  • Leverage latest AI technologies incl. Cloudflare OS, Developer Platform, emerging best practices
  • Synthesize findings to align stakeholders and support strategic decision making
  • Assess financial impact of new initiatives, identify risk mitigation approaches, build forecast models as needed
  • Collaborate with Data Engineer and Data Science teams to track KPIs, increase visibility of new initiatives, streamline reporting
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support to Finance & Executive Leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Operations, Consulting, Investment Banking or Strategic Finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, Data Science master or MBA a plus
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen: translate data into actionable insights or programs
  • Clear, concise, proactive communicator; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable information
  • Strong modeling foundation: proficient in building thoughtful, complex, auditable business models
  • Versatility: results-oriented, self-starter, thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environment; high proficiency in SQL or AI-assisted coding
  • Advanced/working proficiency with English mandatory both written and verbal
